About the Role

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer role at Innovatus Technology Consulting is a remote, full-time position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and collaboration skills. As an IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting robust identity solutions and integration pipelines to support critical modernization efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless access management and directory services administration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of technologies, including Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and modern identity providers such as Ping Identity. Your expertise in directory services, federated identity providers, and automated deployment practices will be essential in driving the company's digital transformation forward.

The IAM Engineer role is part of a larger team that is responsible for securing access to sensitive data and ensuring the integrity of the company's systems. You will report to a senior technical lead and will be expected to collaborate with other engineers, developers, and technical stakeholders to achieve common goals.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and support robust identity solutions and integration pipelines to support critical modernization efforts
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Identity Provider (IdP) solutions to ensure secure single sign-on (SSO) and access management capabilities
  • Manage and support Active Directory (AD) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) environments, ensuring proper schema management, synchronization, and access controls
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployment
  • Utilize identity data virtualization tools to integrate complex, disparate identity repositories
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless access management and directory services administration
  • Participate in the development of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other technical stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of identity and access management

What We Are Looking For

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (minimum)
  • Deep technical knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and LDAP architectures and integration
  • Proven experience with modern Identity Providers, with a strong preference for Ping Identity (PingFederate/PingAccess)
  • Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with directory services administration, including schema management, synchronization, and access controls
  • Knowledge of security policies and procedures, including compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Experience with identity data virtualization tools, such as Radiant Logic (RadiantOne FID)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Radiant Logic (RadiantOne FID) or other identity virtualization and correlation tools
  • Knowledge of cloud-based identity and access management solutions, such as AWS IAM or Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
