Job Description

About the Role

As an Implementation Consultant at AlphaSense, you will play a crucial role in managing the onboarding and rollout of the company's solutions for new and existing enterprise clients. This position will serve as the bridge between pre-sale discussions and the onboarding experience, ensuring a seamless transition for clients. You will be responsible for executing large deployments, developing processes with scalability in mind, and translating client needs into actionable implementation plans.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience as a client-facing Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant in a B2B SaaS environment. You will be working closely with the Customer Success team, reporting to the Team Lead, Strategic Deployments. Your ability to manage tasks, mitigate risks, and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders will be essential to success in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Own the entirety of the deployment phase, including the development of detailed project plans and defining critical milestones
  • Serve as the main point of contact for deployment activities, leading regular project status meetings and communicating progress, risks, and deployment status
  • Analyze implementation trends, identify potential bottlenecks, and develop clear, actionable insights for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Develop and document best practices, standardized playbooks, and implement scalable solutions to ensure a smoother onboarding experience for future clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to align resources and ensure successful deployments
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing deployment methodologies and drive organizational change
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, customer persona, and the customer lifecycle
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to inform product development and sales strategies
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, deployment progress, and project metrics using CRM software and project management tools

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 4+ years of experience as a client-facing Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of change management best practices and experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Asana, Rocketlane, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data validation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade senior client leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and drive organizational change
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) and ability to manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions
  • Strong sense of project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business Administration, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience with iterative project planning
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) or a related field
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients and understanding of their unique needs and challenges
