About the Role
The Implementation Manager I position at Veritone is a critical post-sales role focused on ensuring the seamless onboarding and successful implementation of SaaS solutions for new and existing government and public sector clients. This role is at the heart of the Public Sector Customer Success team, requiring a highly motivated and experienced individual to guide public sector clients through the implementation process. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by public sector organizations and the ability to translate these into effective system configurations.Day-to-day, the Implementation Manager will partner closely with Customer Success Managers and other stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and boost overall customer satisfaction. This involves not only a strong technical aptitude but also excellent communication and analytical skills to navigate complex client needs and technical challenges.
The team context for this role is dynamic, with cross-functional collaboration being key. The Implementation Manager will work hand-in-hand with Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, and Product Teams to align solutions with specific customer use cases. A transparent and results-driven approach to communication is essential in this environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead client onboarding and technical consultation, guiding public sector clients through the implementation of SaaS solutions.
- Deep-dive into client requirements, partnering with Customer Success Managers and providing expert consultation on workflow optimization, solution configuration, media/data management, AI/operational workflows, and manage account/user provisioning.
- Design and configure solutions, transforming client needs into optimized system configurations that ensure smooth integration with existing business processes.
- Plan and execute comprehensive delivery and implementation plans, including rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure robust and reliable system setups.
- Provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert on SaaS environments, products, and third-party integrations, offering insights and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Support team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.
- Work closely with the Pre-Sales team to ensure alignment of solutions with customer needs and expectations.
- Lead integration activities and provide essential support for client-based services, elevating customer satisfaction and product adoption.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of solution designs, implementations, and technical configurations.
- Collaborate with the Product team to provide feedback on product enhancements and new features.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a post-sales implementation role within a SaaS environment, with a strong preference for experience with public sector clients.
- Strong technical aptitude, with experience in technologies such as GraphQL, Node-RED, Python, SQL, Linux, Red Hat Enterprise server technology (AWS/Azure), cloud-based software platforms, and AI technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills and a meticulous approach to solution design, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Experience with ticketing systems, digital media workflows (especially video & audio), and cloud-based software platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with public sector procurement processes and contract management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure).
