About the Role
The Implementation Specialist role at Submittable is a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with a passion for social impact. As a trusted advisor to clients, this position entails guiding organizations through the onboarding process, delivering tailored solutions and training to ensure they maximize the potential of the Submittable platform. This role is pivotal in helping clients translate their existing workflows into effective solutions within the platform, thereby accelerating their impact.Day-to-day, the Implementation Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide software training, and offer consultative support to ensure seamless integration of the Submittable platform. This role reports to the Director of Implementation and is part of the Professional Services team, which is at the forefront of Submittable's mission to empower thousands of mission-driven organizations.

What You Will Do
- Partner with clients to analyze their existing workflows and develop tailored solutions within the Submittable platform.
- Deliver software training and consultative support to ensure clients can maximize the platform's potential.
- Guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to the Submittable platform.
- Collaborate with the Professional Services team to develop and refine best practices for client onboarding and support.
- Work closely with the client success team to ensure long-term client satisfaction and platform adoption.
- Develop and maintain documentation of client workflows and solutions implemented within the Submittable platform.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure they are meeting their goals and to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates of the Submittable platform to provide the most current solutions to clients.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the non-profit or software implementation sector.
- Strong understanding of software implementation best practices and the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Experience working remotely and proficiency in digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze client needs and develop effective solutions.
