About the Role
The Inbound Business Development Representative role is pivotal in nurturing relationships with mid-market customers, guiding them to maximize the use of Bloomerang's purpose-built platform. This involves becoming an expert in Bloomerang's solutions and introducing customers to new products and services that enhance their mission. The role is centered around connecting insights to impact, ensuring nonprofits feel empowered to achieve their goals.Day-to-day, the successful candidate will work closely with the sales team, turning leads into opportunities and contributing to the growth of Bloomerang's customer base. What You Will Do
- Field marketing qualified leads for the sales team to convert into opportunities
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Bloomerang's solutions to guide customers effectively
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure their continued success and satisfaction
- Introduce new products and services to customers, aligning them with their needs and goals
- Analyze customer interactions to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide feedback to the sales and product teams to enhance the customer experience and product offerings
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless transitions and continuous support
- Participate in sales and business development strategy meetings to contribute insights and ideas
- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and execution
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in the nonprofit or technology sector
- Proven track record of successfully nurturing leads and converting them into sales
- Strong understanding of digital sales principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision, staying organized and managing time effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
Nice to Have
- Experience working with nonprofits or in the social impact sector
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and their integration with sales strategies
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as HubSpot Sales or Salesforce
