About the Role
As an Industrial IoT Engineer at Bright Vision Technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying IIoT solutions that drive business value for clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for IIoT adoption, developing and implementing IIoT solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about leveraging technology to transform business processes.The IIoT Engineer role is critical to Bright Vision Technologies' mission, as it enables the company to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of its clients. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with other teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the company's IIoT strategy and driving growth.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and deploy IIoT solutions that meet client requirements and drive business value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for IIoT adoption and develop solutions
- Develop and implement IIoT solutions using Python, C++, or Go, and cloud IoT platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ensure seamless integration of IIoT solutions with existing systems and infrastructure
- Work with edge runtimes such as Greengrass or IoT Edge to develop and deploy edge-based IIoT solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation of IIoT solutions and architectures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IIoT solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals
- Work with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of experience in IIoT or industrial software engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Go
- Hands-on experience with industrial protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, or Sparkplug B
- Experience with at least one major cloud IoT platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with edge runtimes such as Greengrass or IoT Edge
- Solid understanding of OT/IT integration patterns and industrial cybersecurity standards
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with streaming and real-time analytics platforms
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and algorithms
- Certification in IIoT or a related field
