About the Role
The Influencer Marketing Manager position at Kestra Technologies is a unique opportunity to build and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy from the ground up. This role is crucial for accelerating the company's growth in the open-source infrastructure space, where developer influencer marketing has proven to be a high-leverage paid channel. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing influencer campaigns for tech or SaaS clients and will be comfortable working in a hands-on, ownership role.As an Influencer Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying creators, negotiating and structuring deals, briefing and managing delivery, and managing the relationship lifecycle. You will also be expected to expand into adjacent channels and build a playbook for the influencer marketing function. This role requires a strong understanding of the open-source infrastructure space and the ability to identify and partner with key influencers who can help drive growth.

What You Will Do
- Source and qualify creators, including mapping YouTube creators, newsletter authors, podcasters, and community figures whose audiences are platform engineers, DevOps leads, infra builders, data teams, and technical founders.
- Build a scoring system to evaluate audience relevance, engagement quality, growth trajectory, and content fit, and maintain a ranked prospect pipeline.
- Utilize tools such as Social Blade, Passionfroot, GitHub/Discord/Twitter signals, and internal recommendations to identify potential creators.
- Monitor the strategies of other infra/dev tools companies and identify gaps in the market.
- Negotiate, structure, and close deals with creators, including negotiating rates, contracts, and invoicing.
- Develop a modular messaging kit to brief creators on the Kestra platform, including what it is, what it solves, who it's for, and how to start.
- Set up unique UTM links per creator/campaign and enforce link placement and verbal CTA guidelines.
- Review every placement within 48 hours of going live and flag any issues.
- Manage the relationship lifecycle, including active recording of deal history, performance, and communication logs.
- Expand into adjacent channels, such as technical newsletters, dev podcasts, and sponsored community content.
- Test co-marketing strategies, including joint webinars, live coding sessions, and 'build with Kestra' series.
- Feed creator conversation insights back into Product and Marketing to inform future strategies.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, preferably in the tech or SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of the open-source infrastructure space and the ability to identify key influencers.
- Experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Adjust.
- Proven track record of negotiating and structuring deals with creators.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with tools such as Social Blade, Passionfroot, and GitHub/Discord/Twitter signals.
- Knowledge of CPM pricing models and benchmarking fair value by channel size, engagement, and placement type.

- Familiarity with content creation and production, including video editing and graphics design.
