What You Will Do

• Manage and optimize the Data Center network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level network support, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
• Collaborate with other service departments to achieve business objectives and provide technical expertise
• Develop and implement network management processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams and configuration records
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain network security measures
• Provide training and support to junior team members and other stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience working in network administration, with a focus on Data Center network management
• Excellent knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with one or more of the following systems: Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Juniper
• Certification in a relevant area, such as CCNA or CCNP, is highly desirable
• Fluency in English (C1 level or higher), with German language skills a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based network management platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of network automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
• Certification in a related area, such as network security or data center operations
• Experience working in a global, distributed team environment
