About the Role

Railway is seeking an experienced Infra Engineer to join their team in building datacenters around the world. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building application-level code and operating with OS primitives.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining datacenters for high-performance and reliability
  • Delivering projects from conception to completion
  • Operating with agency and urgency to ensure timely delivery

Requirements

  • Experience building application-level code (Golang, GRPC, Postgres, etc.)
  • Familiarity with OS primitives (syscalls, cgroups, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly using RFCs/Docs/etc

Nice to Have

  • Experience with oncall and monitoring, alerts, and dashboards
