About the Role
As an Infrastructure & Capital Projects Procurement Specialist at Accenture, you will play a critical role in managing the procurement process for large-scale infrastructure projects. What You Will Do
- Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, and services necessary for project execution
- Review and optimize supplier performance based on price, quality, selection, service, and support
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
- Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
- Instruct staff on methods of negotiation, renegotiation, and administration of contracts
- Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations to drive business outcomes
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field
- 2+ years of finance-related experience
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals, and other technical data
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing
- Knowledge of supply chain management
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
