About the Role
Railway is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build system-level software and drive the company's mission forward.Responsibilities
- Build system-level software from scratch based on first principles
- Develop a strong understanding of OS level primitives, including CPU, Memory, Network, and the Kernel
- Design and implement distributed systems with a focus on simplicity and scalability
- Develop Golang/Rust GRPC services to expose complex capabilities to the wider company
Requirements
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and fault-tolerant services
- Ability to prioritize and implement solutions with a high degree of autonomy
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team and stakeholders
