About the Role
As a confirmed Python development engineer at Orange Business, you will be part of a dynamic team working on the development of innovative digital solutions for the energy sector. Your primary focus will be on the refactoring of a video analysis tool, leveraging your expertise in Python to drive the development of a new version. What You Will Do
- Develop a new version of the video analysis tool using Python
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and package the tool to meet the requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Utilize your expertise in signal processing and video treatment to enhance the tool's capabilities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Work closely with the development team to ensure smooth integration of the new tool
- Participate in the testing and quality assurance process to ensure the tool meets the required standards
- Document your work and provide regular updates on project progress
- Engage with the community and contribute to the growth of the company's open-source projects
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python development
- Strong skills in Python programming language
- Experience in video treatment and signal processing
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing contexts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Git, GitLab, and Continuous Integration
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
