About the Role
The Installation Lead is a critical role in the successful completion of wind turbine construction projects. As the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with construction managers, technical advisors, quality teams, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly managed.The role involves managing complex, large-scale projects in remote or challenging environments, requiring a deep understanding of construction and the ability to manage resources effectively. You will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and implementing corrective actions to address any hazards identified on-site.

What You Will Do
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site operations related to wind turbine construction, including the assembly of components, tower erection, turbine installation, and the completion of both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that the project adheres to strict timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
- Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and site laborers to ensure work is performed efficiently and aligns with the overall project scope.
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve issues related to resource allocation or subcontractor delays.
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure all workers are adhering to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to address any hazards identified on-site.
- Closely monitor project schedules, make necessary adjustments for weather conditions, delivery delays, or unforeseen challenges, and proactively communicate schedule changes.
- Ensure project milestones and deadlines are consistently met throughout the construction phases.
- Perform on-site quality inspections to ensure construction work complies with engineering specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.
- Address any quality issues or discrepancies immediately and implement corrective actions when necessary.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of wind turbine construction and installation processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage complex projects.
- Proficiency in Adjust and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work in remote or challenging environments, with flexibility to travel to different locations.
