About the Role
The Instructional Designer - SaaS role at Iterable is a unique opportunity to join a leading AI-powered customer engagement platform. As an integral part of the customer education team, you will be responsible for designing and developing e-learning modules to enhance the online customer training portal. Your expertise in instructional design, e-learning, and product development will be crucial in creating engaging and informative content for customers.Iterable's customer education portal is built on the Skilljar Learning Management Platform, utilizing tools like Camtasia, Articulate Rise 360, and Genially. As an instructional designer, you will work closely with the Director of Customer Education and other team members to create courses from training event sessions, including curated videos with activities for customers to follow.

What You Will Do
- Design and develop e-learning modules using Camtasia, Articulate Rise 360, and Genially for the Skilljar Learning Management Platform
- Create courses from training event sessions, including curated videos with activities for customers to follow
- Collaborate with the customer education team to enhance the online customer training portal
- Work closely with the Director of Customer Education to meet product release deadlines and QA of work
- Develop and maintain expertise in Iterable's products and services
- Participate in new and dynamic projects outside the immediate scope of the role
- Contribute to the expansion and improvement of the online Academy offerings
- Build e-learning modules with the help of other team members
- Focus on becoming a product expert and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in e-learning and SaaS
- Work autonomously on smaller projects and collaboratively on larger projects
- Bring new ideas to the team and contribute to content creation
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of e-learning tools like Camtasia, Articulate Rise 360, and Genially
- Experience with the Skilljar Learning Management Platform or similar LMS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with product development and customer education
- Familiarity with SaaS and AI-powered customer engagement platforms
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with video production and editing
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
