About the Role
The Insurance Broking Administrator role at Boomering Inc is a pivotal position responsible for managing and processing insurance documentation, policy renewals, and coordination with brokers. This role is part of a dedicated team that supports an Australian insurance client, offering a unique opportunity to build expertise in Australian insurance operations. The successful candidate will work from home, adhering to Australian business hours, and will be integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of insurance documentation and policy management.Day-to-day, the Insurance Broking Administrator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including following up on outstanding documentation, checking and processing policy closings and invoices, and filing documentation accurately into online systems. This structured and process-driven role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
What You Will Do
- Follow up outstanding documentation from brokers
- Check and process policy closings and invoices
- Follow up outstanding debtors as required
- File documentation accurately into online systems
- Prepare and issue policy documents including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), wordings, and Certificates of Currency (COCs)
- Enter renewal and new business accounts into the system for invoicing
- Prepare and issue monthly renewals to clients and brokers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Coordinate with the brokerage team to resolve any issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Australian insurance industry
- Demonstrated understanding of Australian insurance products and documentation standards
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 — Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Ability to prioritize workload and remain productive under pressure
- Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Reliable internet and home setup
Nice to Have
- Experience with insurance broking platforms — WinBEAT, Sunrise, or Applied Epic
- Experience in an offshore or BPO environment supporting Australian insurance clients
- Knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements for insurance
