Job Description

## About the Role Gitlab is seeking an Intermediate Backend (Go) Engineer to join their Delivery Operate team. As a Backend Engineer, you will focus on delivering and supporting GitLab for self-managed customers by building and maintaining the infrastructure, tooling, and automation that power deployment methods.

## Responsibilities - Work across Omnibus GitLab, GitLab Helm Charts, the GitLab Environment Toolkit (GET), and the GitLab Operator to ensure GitLab is easy to install, upgrade, and operate in diverse, production-grade environments.

  • Collaborate closely with Distribution Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Release Managers, Security, and Development teams to keep deployments secure, scalable, and reliable.
## Nice to Have - Experience with Go and cloud-based technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Gitlab's products and ecosystem is an advantage.
