Job Description

About the Role

The Digitization Intern will play a crucial role in supporting North America Operations at Securitas Canada. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for creating clear training materials, guides, and reference documents to help internal teams adopt new digital processes. This is an 11-week remote internship, working 32-40 hours per week, where you will have the opportunity to work on real projects and make a meaningful contribution to the company.

The role is focused on execution, documentation, and continuous improvement, rather than strategy ownership. You will work closely with the NA Operations team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

What You Will Do

  • Create clear how-to guides, job aids, and reference materials for NA Operations tools and workflows
  • Develop short video walkthroughs and visual training content to support digital adoption
  • Support documentation of current state and future state operational processes
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining digital content in Microsoft 365 tools
  • Track basic usage or engagement metrics related to training materials and report findings
  • Support other digitization and documentation tasks as needed within NA Operations
  • Collaborate with the NA Operations team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation of digital processes and workflows
  • Assist with the creation of training materials and guides for new employees
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to stay up-to-date on company initiatives and projects

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as business, operations, communications, digital media, information systems, or a related discipline
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Familiarity with at least one BI or visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics)
  • Ability to organize information and follow structured processes
  • Interest in operations, process improvement, or digital enablement
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly and simply
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating training materials, guides, or instructional content
  • Basic familiarity with process documentation or workflow mapping
  • Exposure to simple reporting, analytics, or dashboards
  • Basic design or video editing experience
