About the Role

Day-to-day, the International Creative Writer will be responsible for staying abreast of current events, cultural festivities, and popular trends to inspire fresh and captivating content. The position requires a self-starter who can execute tasks autonomously, with critical reading and thinking skills, resilience, and the ability to accept constructive feedback. Given the freelance nature of the role, with an expected commitment of 16 hours per week, flexibility and the ability to manage time effectively are key.

What You Will Do

• Develop and write creative dialogues for the virtual assistant based on trending topics, cultural events, and popular festivities.
• Refresh and refine existing dialogues to ensure they remain engaging and relevant.
• Contribute to the review of dialogue suggestions made by other writers to maintain consistency and quality.
• Help evolve the virtual assistant as a distinct character in the Swiss German language, aligning with global personality guidelines.
• Translate and adapt dialogues from English into Swiss German, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
• Participate in the quality assurance of editorial responses to ensure high standards.
• Embed created dialogues into XML files using the company's proprietary tooling, with training provided as needed.
• Stay updated on current events, cultural phenomena, and technological advancements to inspire innovative content.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and contribute to the continuous improvement of the virtual assistant.
