About the Role
The Flutter Mobile Developer internship at HOPn UG is a unique chance to work on real-world mobile applications that are used in production systems. As a member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile interfaces that support AI-powered backend systems. The role involves collaborating with the backend team to connect mobile apps with existing services, ensuring seamless user experiences. You will work in a flexible and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to receive mentorship from experienced developers and grow into a full-time Flutter developer role.The internship is designed to be flexible, lasting between 3-6 months, depending on team needs. This allows for a deep dive into the world of Flutter development, gaining hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Build clean, responsive, and user-friendly UI components
- Integrate REST APIs into mobile applications
- Work with the backend team to connect mobile apps with existing services
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Fix bugs, improve performance, and enhance app stability
- Design and implement new features for mobile applications
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and solve problems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Flutter and mobile technology
What We Are Looking For
- Strong understanding of Flutter and Dart
- Experience building at least one Flutter project (academic or personal)
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile applications
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON handling
- Basic understanding of Git and version control
