About the Role

The role entails working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze investment research, summaries, and memos for AI model evaluation. You will also be responsible for predicting and analyzing earnings to refine AI model outputs. With a strong foundation in financial modeling, market sizing, and investment research, you will be able to make a significant impact on the company's AI model training.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate hedge fund strategies related to long/short equity to enhance AI model training
  • Develop and review financial models to improve AI-generated financial content
  • Conduct market sizing and TAM analysis to inform AI research teams
  • Analyze investment research, summaries, and memos for AI model evaluation
  • Predict and analyze earnings to refine AI model outputs
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in AI research and financial modeling
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss project progress and provide feedback

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in top hedge funds
  • Experience in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, or investment research
  • Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and asynchronously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with AI model training and evaluation
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in finance
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Certification in finance or a related field, such as CFA or CAIA
