## About the Role The Investor Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless investor experiences throughout the capital commitment and investment lifecycle. As a key member of the WALTER team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding workflow, coordinating with compliance partners, and maintaining accurate investor records. Your expertise will be essential in driving reinvestment velocity and fostering strong relationships with existing and new investors. The investor onboarding process is complex and requires meticulous attention to detail. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including CPAs, fund administrators, and operations teams, to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide proactive support will be vital in delivering a white-glove experience to investors. As the company continues to grow and expand its global reach, the need for skilled professionals like investor onboarding specialists has become increasingly important. ## What You Will Do - Own the entire onboarding workflow, from commitment to funding, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and proactive communication.

  • Coordinate KYC, accreditation, and Blue Sky requirements with third-party compliance partners.
  • Process and track wire transfers and capital commitments accurately.
  • Ensure investor portal accuracy, including correct entity mapping and secure documentation storage.
  • Serve as the primary data owner for investor records, capital commitments, and distribution reporting within InvestNext.
  • Track investment lifecycle status per investor and proactively escalate issues to executive leadership.
  • Drive a high-touch, white-glove investor experience that reduces friction and encourages future reinvestment.
  • Track onboarding timelines per investor and per offering to ensure efficiency and speed.
  • Work with CPAs, fund administrators, and operations to maintain accurate investor records for tax and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
## What We Are Looking For - 2-5 years of experience in investor relations, investor operations, financial services operations, or similar client-facing roles.
  • Experience in private investments or real estate is a strong plus.
  • Strong proficiency with task management software (Asana, Monday, ClickUp) and data entry/tracking in Excel.
  • Experience with InvestNext or similar investor portal software, or the ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong follow-through.
  • Possesses an ownership mindset and takes full responsibility for client outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for a white-glove client experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
