About the Role
The iOS App Developer position at Arise App is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to join a team that is making a significant impact in the health and wellness industry. As an iOS App Developer, you will be responsible for owning the iOS codebase, ensuring it is optimized, and future-proof. You will work closely with the design team to refine usability and collaborate with Android developers to ensure cross-platform consistency. The role requires a strong understanding of Apple design principles, patterns, and best practices, as well as the ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality code and a minimum of 4 years of iOS development experience. You will be working in a remote-first environment, with a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work with the latest hardware and technologies.
What You Will Do
- Develop and test features that enhance the Arise app experience
- Maintain, optimize, and ensure the iOS codebase is future-proof
- Collaborate with design to refine usability for a smooth user experience
- Align with Android developers to ensure cross-platform consistency
- Support monetization strategies by integrating features with measurable business impact
- Anticipate potential technical pitfalls and proactively design solutions
- Work closely with the development team to identify and prioritize new features and improvements
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code
- Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS developments and trends
- Collaborate with the product team to define and prioritize project requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of iOS development experience
- Strong knowledge of Swift
- Experience with Cocoapods and Fastlane
- Solid understanding of Apple design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable working fully in English
- Experience with collaborative development using Git
- Strong understanding of software development principles and patterns
Nice to Have
- Experience with other programming languages, such as Java or Python
- Knowledge of machine learning or data science
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Certification in iOS development or related field
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or CircleCI
