About the Role

The IT Engineering Lead role at Elevenlabs is a hands-on technical position that requires leading the IT Engineering team, balancing technical work with mentoring, project planning, and hiring. What You Will Do

  • Lead the IT Engineering team, balancing technical work with mentoring, project planning, and hiring
  • Collaborate with the Security and Operations teams to ensure the security and productivity of endpoints, offices, networks, and SaaS tools
  • Develop and implement automation-first solutions to drive efficiency and reliability
  • Manage enterprise-scale IT systems, including identity and access management technologies and mobile device management tooling
  • Script and automate compliance checks, device configuration, and other IT security tasks
  • Manage office network equipment, including office buildouts and expansions
  • Develop and implement IT engineering projects, including project planning and budgeting
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure the team's success
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience leading or mentoring an IT Engineering or Technical Operations team
  • Strong hands-on background in IT Engineering, Technical Operations, or a DevOps-adjacent role
  • Expertise with identity and access management technologies, such as Okta and Google Workspace
  • Experience with mobile device management tooling, such as Jamf, Kandji, or Fleet
  • Scripting skills, such as Python or Bash, with experience automating IT security tasks
  • Experience managing office network equipment, including Cisco Meraki or Ubiquiti
  • Strong knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance regulations
  • Experience with project planning, budgeting, and management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based IT systems, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Certification in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
  • Experience with IT engineering project management tools, such as Jira or Asana
