About the Role
The IT Systems Engineer role at Pertemps ERP is a highly technical position that requires a deep understanding of storage infrastructure and system engineering. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and further development of the company's storage infrastructure. This is a complex and challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as the ability to work in a secure environment. The team you will be working with is highly skilled and collaborative, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to drive business success.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include investigating and resolving system and performance issues, optimizing and automating existing technologies and processes, and supporting technical projects and infrastructure initiatives. You will also be collaborating with internal and international teams to contribute to the implementation of new concepts and technologies. What You Will Do
- Administer, operate, and further develop the company's storage infrastructure
- Investigate and resolve system and performance issues
- Optimize and automate existing technologies and processes
- Support technical projects and infrastructure initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and international teams to contribute to the implementation of new concepts and technologies
- Develop and implement new storage infrastructure solutions
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of storage infrastructure with other systems
- Develop and maintain documentation of storage infrastructure and systems
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for storage infrastructure
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in IT system environments, ideally within storage infrastructure
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, Linux, or scripting is beneficial
- Shift availability required
- Fluent English language skills
- Already based in Germany, or willing to relocate
- Residence and work eligibility within Germany required
- Due to the nature of the environment, only EU or NATO nationals can be considered
- Experience working in a secure environment and with sensitive data
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based storage solutions
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
- Certification in ITIL or similar framework
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
