Janitor

About the Role

As a Janitor at OCS, day-to-day responsibilities will include operating machinery, using cleaning chemicals in accordance with user instructions, and ensuring that all equipment is kept clean and in good working order. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a set timeframe. The working pattern for this position is Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12.20pm, with holiday entitlement accrued on a pro-rata basis in line with weeks worked.

What You Will Do

• Carry out general cleaning duties as detailed in the specification to agreed standards as directed by the line manager.
• Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times.
• Develop good working relationships with The Exclusive Services Group and client colleagues.
• Ensure correct materials, equipment, and methods are used at all times.
• Report all faults to machinery and equipment immediately.
• Wear the company-provided uniform at all times whilst on duty.
• Attend training as required by the line manager.
• Report all accidents and dangerous occurrences immediately to the line manager.
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policy at all times.
• Comply with any client's reasonable requests or instructions from the Line Manager.
• Complete agreed allocated cleaning tasks in accordance with the service level agreement.
• Operate machinery provided on site.
• Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with user instructions.

• First aid certification.
