About the Role
The Janitor position at OCS is a crucial part of the company's facilities management services, ensuring that all premises are cleaned to the highest standards. This role entails working independently to complete allocated cleaning tasks, adhering to the service level agreement, and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and clients. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values professionalism, competence, and a commitment to delivering award-winning services.As a Janitor at OCS, day-to-day responsibilities will include operating machinery, using cleaning chemicals in accordance with user instructions, and ensuring that all equipment is kept clean and in good working order. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a set timeframe. The working pattern for this position is Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12.20pm, with holiday entitlement accrued on a pro-rata basis in line with weeks worked.

What You Will Do
- Carry out general cleaning duties as detailed in the specification to agreed standards as directed by the line manager.
- Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times.
- Develop good working relationships with The Exclusive Services Group and client colleagues.
- Ensure correct materials, equipment, and methods are used at all times.
- Report all faults to machinery and equipment immediately.
- Wear the company-provided uniform at all times whilst on duty.
- Attend training as required by the line manager.
- Report all accidents and dangerous occurrences immediately to the line manager.
- Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policy at all times.
- Comply with any client's reasonable requests or instructions from the Line Manager.
- Complete agreed allocated cleaning tasks in accordance with the service level agreement.
- Operate machinery provided on site.
- Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with user instructions.
