About the Role
The Japan Marketing Manager role is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of the Japanese market and the Web3.0 ecosystem. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute Japan market GTM strategies that drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and ecosystem growth
- Analyze local market trends, competitors, and user behavior in the Web3.0 space to identify growth opportunities
- Identify and develop relationships with key influencers and partners in the Japanese Web3.0 ecosystem
- Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns online and offline, including social media, content marketing, and event marketing
- Localize global brand messaging for Japanese audiences and ensure that all marketing materials are culturally relevant and effective
- Own campaign performance tracking and ROI analysis, using data to inform future marketing strategies
- Build and promote the growth of the Japanese Web3.0 community through social media, events, and partnerships
- Work with KOLs, media, and partners in Japan's crypto or Web3 ecosystem to drive engagement and conversion
- Support local events, meetups, conferences, and hackathons to promote the company's brand and message
- Lead Japanese content strategy across social media, blogs, PR, and newsletters, ensuring high-quality communication and engagement
What We Are Looking For
- 1+ years of Japanese marketing experience, preferably in the Web3.0 or crypto space
- Native-level Japanese speaking and business-level English (spoken and written)
- Experience in community building and KOL cooperation
- Strong understanding of the Japanese market and its unique challenges and opportunities
- Experience working in international teams and collaborating with global marketing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform future marketing strategies
- Experience with marketing automation tools and platforms, such as Marketo or HubSpot
- Familiarity with Japan's crypto regulations and market environment
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: DeFi, GameFi, DeSocial
- Familiarity with Japanese social media platforms, such as Line or Twitter
- Experience with content creation and storytelling, including writing and video production
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines
