About the Role
As a Salesforce Developer at Customertimes, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys collaborating with business and technical stakeholders in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and QA engineers, to deliver mission-critical web applications.The role involves working on storefront features, ensuring data consistency across SFCC, CRM, and ERP systems, and participating in code reviews. You will also be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, supporting UAT, go-live activities, and hypercare phases. With a strong understanding of MVC architecture and Salesforce data models, you will be able to drive the development of high-quality e-commerce solutions.
As part of the delivery team, you will be expected to collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical specifications. You will also be responsible for documenting solutions and maintaining technical specifications.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain storefront features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code
- Ensure data consistency across SFCC, CRM, and ERP systems
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Support UAT, go-live activities, and hypercare phases
- Document solutions and maintain technical specifications
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for e-commerce solutions
- Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical specifications
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in web development
- Proven track record of delivering mission-critical, enterprise-level web applications
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or similar tools
- Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency
- 2+ years of Salesforce development experience, including both front-end and back-end (Apex, Lightning Components, Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL)
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and Salesforce data model
- Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Script API and OCAPI
- Knowledge of e-commerce concepts and functional elements
- Experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) is a strong plus
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Developer certification is a strong plus
- Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
- Experience with jQuery or similar libraries
Nice to Have
- Experience with integrations and web services
- Strong expertise in web services and related technologies, including REST, SOAP, XML, HTTPS, API, RSA encryption, XPath, and XSD schemas
- Experience with cloud-based e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
