Junior Backend (Golang) Engineer

About the Role

Day-to-day, the Junior Backend Engineer will focus on developing scalable and reliable backend services, ensuring the stability and performance of the platform. This will involve collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements. The role is based in Poland, but remote work arrangements are available, reflecting the company's commitment to flexibility and work-life balance. What You Will Do

• Design and implement APIs and backend services using Go, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet product requirements and drive business growth.
• Develop and maintain platform health, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
• Communicate proactively and transparently with teammates and stakeholders, keeping them informed throughout project stages.
• Participate in goal setting and team planning, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting areas for growth.
• Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend services and APIs.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug code, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience in designing and implementing APIs, preferably in Go or similar technologies.
• Ability and willingness to learn Go, with a strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems, with the ability to compose complex queries.
