About the Role
The Junior Data Analyst role at Numa is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking hospitality brand that is redefining the way people discover cities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from multiple large-scale data warehouses, developing dashboards and reporting to generate commercial insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities. The role is based in Lisboa, Portugal, and offers a dynamic and supportive environment where creativity thrives, and contributions make a real impact. In this role, you will be working closely with the revenue management, marketing, and strategy teams to provide data-driven insights that inform business decisions. You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain data sources, identify trends and patterns in data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.What You Will Do
- Extract and analyze data from multiple large-scale data warehouses
- Develop dashboards and reporting to generate commercial insights across revenue functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and answer key business questions through data analysis
- Present analyses and insights to a wide range of business stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
- Enable stakeholders to independently leverage data by developing self-service dashboards and tools
- Support the development, standardization, and rollout of internal reporting across the organization
- Contribute to improving data quality, definitions, and governance within the Revenue Analytics domain
- Proactively identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data
- Develop and maintain data sources
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations and process improvements
What We Are Looking For
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Looker or similar BI tools
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Administration with a strong analytical focus
- Interest in data analysis, visualization, statistics, and data storytelling
- AI-first mindset with a strong curiosity for emerging AI technologies and applications
- Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on mentality, and ability to think critically and work autonomously in iterative environments
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles
