Job Description

About the Role

The Junior Deal Desk Analyst role is a critical component of Iterable's sales operations team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts are reviewed, structured, and executed efficiently. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk, and will work closely with various stakeholders, including sales, legal, and finance teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in revenue operations, a strong understanding of contract management principles, and excellent analytical skills.

What You Will Do

  • Review pricing and contract structure to ensure alignment with business, legal, and finance requirements
  • Calculate margins on deals to ensure each opportunity is meeting gross margin targets
  • Enforce best practices for the quoting process, pricing guidelines, and overall Deal Desk processes
  • Escalate approvals to the appropriate business partners and functions for review and approval
  • Help support sales with quote and order form creation, including making edits inside of the CPQ system and manually updating order forms
  • Help ensure accuracy of internal documentation relating to standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that all contracts are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Iterable's products and services, including pricing and packaging
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in a Revenue Operations role, preferably in a sales operations or deal desk function
  • Experience in CRM, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all work products
  • Ability to learn quickly, with a strong desire to grow and develop skills and knowledge
  • Experience with CPQ systems, preferably Apttus or similar
  • Strong Microsoft Office, GSuite, and Adobe skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in Deal Desk, sales operations, or a related field
  • Experience with contract management software, preferably Conga or similar
  • Certification in sales operations, contract management, or a related field
  • Experience with data analysis tools, preferably Tableau or similar
  • Experience with project management tools, preferably Asana or similar
