About the Role
The Junior Event Manager position at Emerging Travel Group is a key role that entails planning, executing, and managing various types of events, including big international fairs, business breakfasts and dinners, networking events, online conferences, webinars, and workshops. This role is critical in supporting the company's growth and expansion, as events play a significant part in showcasing the company's products and services. The Junior Event Manager will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of events.As part of the events team, the Junior Event Manager will be responsible for maintaining budgets, signing contracts, paying invoices, and preparing reporting documents. They will also collect needs from internal teams, create event timelines, and communicate with project teams to organize events. The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
The Junior Event Manager will report to a senior member of the events team and will be expected to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have the opportunity to work with the design team, leading or assisting in event content creation, and participating in creative briefings.
What You Will Do
- Support different types of ETG events, including big international fairs, business breakfasts and dinners, networking events, online conferences, webinars, and workshops
- Maintain budgets, sign contracts, pay invoices, and prepare reporting documents
- Collect needs from internal teams, create event timelines, and communicate with project teams to organize events
- Plan and conduct weekly project team calls
- Search for contractors worldwide for online and offline events, conduct briefings, and lead communication with exhibition organizers and different events venues
- Work with the design team to create event content, including event scripts and creative briefings
- Ensure a smooth completion of the event and resolve any problems that may arise on site during the events
- Analyze the success of the event and prepare analytical reports, using the data to continually improve future event delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve event goals and objectives
- Manage and track event expenses, ensuring that they are within budget
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in event management or related roles
- Experience working with contractors and organizing both offline and online events
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Experience in budget tracking using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Trello
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with task managers such as Trello or Asana

- Experience working with event management software
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Experience in creating event content, including event scripts and creative briefings
