About the Role
The Junior Human Resources Assistant role is a critical component of Helic & Co's HR team, responsible for providing support and ensuring the seamless operation of HR functions. As a Junior Human Resources Assistant, you will work closely with the HR team to manage day-to-day operations, implement new initiatives, and maintain accurate records. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment, and you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive team.In this role, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of HR-related tasks, from recruitment and onboarding to benefits administration and employee engagement. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices, and to contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures. As a key member of the HR team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that Helic & Co's HR operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including scheduling interviews and conducting background checks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information
- Coordinate employee events and activities, such as training sessions and team-building exercises
- Develop and implement HR-related projects, such as employee engagement initiatives and diversity and inclusion programs
- Conduct research and analyze data to inform HR-related decisions and recommendations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Stay up-to-date with changing HR laws and regulations, and ensure that Helic & Co is in compliance
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and benefits fairs
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track HR metrics and key performance indicators
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
What We Are Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR-related role, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HR software and systems, including HRIS and benefits administration
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
