What You Will Do

  • Analyze and respond to user inquiries for IT-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Assist with improving project efficiency and effectiveness within an IT support context, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Perform professional technology support tasks, including account access requests and application support, to ensure seamless operations
  • Troubleshoot account issues and escalate priority problems to senior team members, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Consolidate daily requests and manage information from various sources, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Engage with clients to understand IT requirements and translate them into project plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation

What We Are Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience supporting a defense organization in a professional capacity, with a strong understanding of IT principles and practices
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Teams for collaboration, to facilitate communication and teamwork
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform shift work, with flexibility to work varying hours as required
  • Secret clearance required, with a strong commitment to security and confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration

Nice to Have

  • Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, to inform best practices and process improvements
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including Azure and AWS, to support the development of scalable and secure solutions
