Junior Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

As a key member of the supply chain team, the Junior Supply Chain Analyst will contribute to the development of strategic plans to achieve business objectives, working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. What You Will Do

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, shipping times, and supplier performance
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve issues, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company standards
• Participate in the development of strategic plans and budgets, providing input on supply chain operations and recommendations for investment
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management
• Develop and implement training programs to educate internal stakeholders on supply chain processes and procedures
• Manage and maintain databases and systems used for supply chain management, including ERP and CRM systems
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, laws, and industry standards that affect supply chain operations, and ensure compliance

What We Are Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in digital tools and technologies, including ERP and CRM systems, spreadsheet software, and data visualization tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
• Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones
• Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or ISM, is an asset but not required

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence applications in supply chain management
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R, and experience with data science tools and technologies
• Certification in lean or agile methodologies, with experience implementing process improvements in a supply chain environment
• Experience working with international suppliers or manufacturers, with knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance requirements
