## About the Role As a Key Account Manager at GE Vernova, you will be the primary point of contact for managing the company's relationships with assigned key accounts. ## What You Will Do - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed annual commercial order intake and margin targets - Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utility accounts - Conduct regular business reviews with customers to understand their needs and identify new sales opportunities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies - Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies - Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach - Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials - Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with customers - Provide feedback and insights to internal stakeholders on customer needs, market trends, and sales performance
## What We Are Looking For - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, sales) or equivalent experience - Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the utility or industrial sector - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role - Strong understanding of the utility industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Excel and other sales tools and software - Willingness to travel approximately 20%-50% of the time
