About the Role

The Key Account Manager position at GFL Cosmetics is a critical role that involves developing and securing new sales contracts with hotel groups, independent hotels, resorts, and cruise ship operators. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients and distribution partners, ensuring continued collaboration and business growth. The ideal candidate will be based in Germany, with a focus on Southern Germany, and will be expected to travel occasionally to meet with clients and distributors.

The role requires a strong understanding of the hotel supply industry, as well as excellent sales and communication skills. You will be working closely with the sales team to achieve and exceed sales turnover and margin targets, and will be expected to provide training and support to distributor sales teams to enhance their product knowledge and sales effectiveness.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and secure new sales contracts with hotel groups, independent hotels, resorts, and cruise ship operators through direct engagement and negotiation
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and distribution partners
  • Achieve and exceed sales turnover and margin targets
  • Collaborate closely with designated distributors to ensure contract compliance and seamless implementation of agreements
  • Provide training and support to distributor sales teams
  • Conduct market research to identify new hotel openings and business opportunities
  • Analyze data to optimize sales strategies
  • Work closely with the sales team to share best practices and knowledge
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends
