About the Role
The Key Account Manager position at Topcon Positioning Systems is a critical role that focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with machine distributors in Italy. As a key member of the regional sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for distributors. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key machine distributors in Italy
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with distributors
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts or regions
- Collaborate with internal sales and product teams to develop tailored solutions for distributors
- Create joint business plans with distributors, including sales forecasts, marketing activities, and growth initiatives
- Monitor distributor performance against targets and KPIs
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior management
- Support distributors with training, product information, and marketing tools
- Gather and report market intelligence from the field regarding competitors, trends, and customer feedback
- Analyze data to identify opportunities and threats in the market
- Contribute to strategy development for product positioning and distribution optimization
What We Are Looking For
- Several years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction or geopositioning industries
- Professional background in sales, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel and business planning tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of organization and self-direction
- Willingness to travel across Italy, approximately 60% of the working time
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Experience with market research and analysis, as well as strategy development
