About the Role

The Key Account Manager position at Mauser Packaging Solutions is a critical role that involves building and maintaining long-term, strategic relationships with large, complex customers. This role requires a deep understanding of the customer's needs and the ability to provide valued packaging solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing the share of wallet with existing customers and identifying new opportunities for growth.

The Key Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business growth and deliver results. This role requires a strong sales background, with a proven track record of delivering year-over-year growth and a deep understanding of the packaging industry.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with large, complex customers
  • Assess customer needs and provide valued packaging solutions that meet or exceed their expectations
  • Grow the share of wallet with existing customers and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Utilize company resources and expertise to drive business growth and deliver results
  • Perform regular Quarterly Business Reviews with customers to assess progress towards mutual goals and targets
  • Negotiate long-term agreements that optimize margin while driving unit growth and top-line revenue
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and deliver results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM and Power BI to manage customer interactions and drive business growth
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or Communications
  • Strong background in sales and the packaging industry
  • Proven record of delivering year-over-year growth
  • Proficient with CRM tools, such as Salesforce
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze customer trends, financials, and data, and make recommendations on strategy and customer management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a large, complex customer base
  • Minimum 7 years of direct sales experience
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the packaging industry
