About the Role

The Key Account Manager Süddeutschland role at ICAPE GROUP is a full-time, remote position that requires frequent travel to customers. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships in Germany, driving sustainable revenue growth, and acting as a trusted partner for your clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include prospecting and developing new companies and business opportunities, managing and growing existing key accounts, and achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets. You will also be coordinating closely with internal teams, including Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain, to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are delivered on time.

What You Will Do

  • Prospect and develop new companies and business opportunities in Germany
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Prepare quotations and lead commercial negotiations with clients and suppliers
  • Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments, including Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction through regular feedback and solution implementation
  • Travel frequently to visit customers and prospects, with a focus on building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Report regularly to management on sales performance, targets, and pipeline development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement custom-made technical solutions for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, ideally in electronics or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a technical background being a plus
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability in Key Account Management, with a focus on driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Structured, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment, with a willingness to travel frequently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools
  • Knowledge of the electronics industry, including Printed Circuit Boards and custom-made electro-mechanical parts
  • Familiarity with German business culture and regulations
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a degree in business administration or marketing
