About the Role
The Key Account Manager role at Metagenics is a crucial position that involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare practitioners and driving sales growth through strategic account partnerships. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for owning a defined portfolio of healthcare practitioner accounts, meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas, and increasing unit volume and product penetration by aligning product solutions with patient protocols and clinic objectives.The role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, as well as excellent sales and account management skills. You will be working closely with healthcare practitioners to identify high-impact growth opportunities, recommend products across priority categories, and introduce in-office digital protocols to drive revenue growth. You will also be responsible for leading Joint Business Planning conversations, driving digital product recommendations, and delivering unit volume against monthly and quarterly quotas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, preferably in the healthcare or wellness industry. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent business planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build and grow professional relationships rooted in trust and shared business outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Own a defined portfolio of healthcare practitioner accounts, accountable for meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Increase unit volume and product penetration by aligning product solutions with patient protocols and clinic objectives
- Lead Joint Business Planning conversations to identify high-impact growth opportunities and recommend products across priority categories
- Introduce in-office digital protocols to drive revenue growth and improve patient outcomes
- Deliver unit volume against monthly and quarterly quotas
- Execute sell-through tactics such as promotional offers, sampling programs, and category education to convert into incremental patient purchases
- Actively promote digital subscriptions, CRM treatment plans, and auto-refill strategies to drive recurring revenue and patient compliance
- Achieve and exceed physical and virtual call activity metrics
- Collaborate with Marketing, Trade, and Customer Service to optimize account support and clinic success
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in B2B sales, territory management, or account-based selling, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or nutritional supplements
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas using a consultative selling approach
- Experience with CRM platforms to manage pipeline, forecast, and document account interactions
- Trained in foundational sales methodologies such as Challenger or SPIN
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Strong ability to build and grow professional relationships rooted in trust and shared business outcomes
- Strategic thinker with strong business planning and problem-solving skills
