About the Role
The Keyholder role at BrewDog is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of craft beer enthusiasts. As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the day-to-day operations of the bar, including front and back of house tasks. You will work closely with the management team to ensure seamless shift transitions, maintain high standards of customer service, and contribute to the development of the bar's overall strategy.The role requires a strong understanding of craft beer, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and ensuring that every experience is memorable. What You Will Do
- Assist the management team in the day-to-day operations of the bar
- Support the development of the bar's overall strategy
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring every experience is memorable
- Develop and implement effective shift transitions to ensure seamless operations
- Work closely with the management team to drive sales and develop staff
- Participate in beer training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills
- Contribute to the maintenance of high standards of health and safety in the bar
- Assist in the development of marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and engagement
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve company-wide objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and partners
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry
- Strong understanding of craft beer and the ability to communicate this to customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of beer styles, brewing processes, and beer and food pairing
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice to Have
- Experience with beer training and development programs
- Knowledge of beer styles, brewing processes, and beer and food pairing
- Certification in beer service, such as Cicerone or beer sommelier
- Experience with social media marketing and promotion
