About the Role
The Keyholder role at Red Apple Stores ULC is a vital position that supports the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store, including managing sales, controlling expenses, and providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the store. - Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Manage and control expenses to ensure the store is operating within budget
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Participate in visual merchandising and ensure the store is well-presented and visually appealing
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in retail, preferably in a management or supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field an asset
- Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising an asset
Nice to Have
- Experience with digital marketing and social media
- Familiarity with retail software and technology
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Experience working in a remote or rural location
