The Kids For All Seasons Attendant role is a unique opportunity to work with children in a luxury resort setting, providing a fun and safe environment for them to thrive. As a key member of the Four Seasons team, you will be responsible for leading recreational and educational programs, engaging children in various activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that every child has a fantastic time, and that their parents can relax and enjoy their stay, knowing that their children are in good hands.
What You Will Do
- Directly supervise children in the program to ensure their personal safety during experiences
- Deliver experiences in a way that is creative, fun, and exciting to all children and guests
- Lead various recreational and interpretive programs for children, including outdoor activities, swimming, arts and crafts, technology, reading, and more
- Engage children in all aspects of the program, including planning and executing activities
- Insure an attendance sheet of each child is complete and available for every session
- Insure components of all activities are delivered as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures
- Promote strong positive inter-departmental relations through respect for other areas in the department
- Insure good stewardship of supplies and resources
- Provide guest service through positive interactions with parents and children
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for children, adhering to all health and safety protocols
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and parents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Basic first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a luxury resort or hotel environment
- Certification in a specific area, such as childcare or education
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to speak multiple languages
- Experience with event planning and execution, with the ability to plan and deliver fun and engaging activities for children
