About the Role

As a remote interpreter, you will work from the comfort of your own home, handling calls on demand and rendering the meaning of conversations between Kimiiru and English speakers. What You Will Do
- Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol
- Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions
- Maintain a professional demeanor throughout interpreting sessions
- Remain calm during interpreting sessions, especially in emergency situations
- Follow client instructions and protocol to ensure client expectations are met
- Understand protocol and terminology for various industries, including medical, insurance, and finance
- Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity and working in a diverse environment
- Collaborate with other interpreters and support staff to ensure seamless communication
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve interpretation skills
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving interpretation services
What We Are Looking For
- Fluency in Kimiiru and English
- Strong interpretation skills, with the ability to process information quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in interpretation or a related field preferred

- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
