Job Description

About the Role

As a Lab IT support specialist at Labcorp, you will be responsible for coordinating EMR lab and client/vendor interfaces, project management, and owning projects end-to-end from discovery to closure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include communicating with stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges, and documenting and resolving issues. You will work closely with various teams, including IT, QA, and operational teams, to ensure the smooth operation of Labcorp's systems.

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines. What You Will Do

  • Communicate and understand various application stakeholders' needs and challenges to document and resolve issues
  • Review, prioritize, and manage the product backlog of requirements, bugs, and enhancements
  • Ensure stakeholders are given ample updates and the application is maintained fit for use
  • Document and manage various requirements and resolutions to bugs identified to help optimize the application
  • Support various meetings with business stakeholders, IT stakeholders, and other teams
  • Provide guidance in understanding the application and its uses
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results
  • Make decisions on backlog prioritization and management based on discussions with stakeholders and the IT product owner
  • Maintain a calm and supportive attitude while providing updates frequently for tasks

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage relationships with various business stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with EMR interfaces and IT project management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
  • Certification in a related field, such as ITIL or Agile
  • Experience working in a healthcare or laboratory setting
