About the Role

Think Academy U.S is a leading education technology company dedicated to providing high-quality K-12 supplemental learning services through innovative digital instruction. As a Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging live classes based on Think Academy's ELA curriculum, focusing on Reading & Speaking and Reading & Writing skills. You will be part of a team of experienced educators committed to nurturing English literacy in young learners.

The role involves preparing and delivering well-structured lessons, actively engaging and managing a virtual classroom of up to 10 students, grading student work, and providing timely feedback. You will also communicate professionally with students and parents regarding learning goals and performance, and participate in regular teacher training and professional development.

Think Academy's programs are designed with research-based pedagogy, and as a Language Arts Teacher, you will play a critical role in empowering students to grow academically and confidently.

What You Will Do

  • Teach online ELA classes focusing on Reading & Speaking and Reading & Writing skills
  • Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons using Think Academy's curriculum resources
  • Actively engage and manage a virtual classroom of up to 10 students
  • Grade student work and provide timely feedback
  • Track student progress and communicate professionally with students and parents
  • Participate in regular teacher training, curriculum discussions, and professional development
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to achieve academic goals
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in online teaching and virtual classroom management
  • Contribute to the development of new curriculum materials and resources

What We Are Looking For

  • Native-level English speaker with excellent command of American English
  • U.S. public/private/charter school ELA teaching experience preferred (1st-4th grade focus ideal)
  • Bachelor's degree (any field) required; Education/ELA/English majors preferred
  • Strong understanding of elementary reading instruction, literacy development, and writing support
  • Comfortable with online teaching technology and virtual classroom management
  • Enthusiastic, student-centered, and able to inspire young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with online learning platforms and educational software
  • Familiarity with curriculum design and development
