About the Role
Daybreak Health is seeking a remote mental health therapist to provide teletherapy services to students across Georgia. As a member of the Daybreak Health team, you will be part of a dedicated community of therapists passionate about delivering high-quality care. The role involves collaborating with schools, caregivers, and community partners to ensure student success.About the Role
The mental health therapist will play a key role in delivering evidence-based teletherapy to students within the school district partnerships. The therapist will work closely with school counselors and other providers to support student mental health, providing psychoeducation and guidance to parents and caregivers. The role also involves participating in case consultations, team discussions, and ongoing training to contribute to the development and refinement of Daybreak Health's clinical programs.About the Role

- Provide evidence-based teletherapy to students within the school district partnerships
- Build trusted relationships with students and their families
- Collaborate closely with school counselors and other providers to support student mental health
- Provide psychoeducation and guidance to parents and caregivers
- Participate in case consultations, team discussions, and ongoing training
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Daybreak Health's clinical programs
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and client progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services
What We Are Looking For
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Spanish language skills required
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a school setting or with educational institutions
- Knowledge of cultural competence and trauma-informed care
- Experience with crisis intervention and emergency response
- Certification in a specialized area of mental health, such as trauma or anxiety
