Job Description

## About the Role As a Lead Application Modernization Engineer at Liatrio, you will play a critical role in driving the technical delivery of complex projects. You will be responsible for designing and building cloud-native services, integrating AI capabilities, and leading a team of engineers to ensure successful project outcomes. Your expertise in cloud-native services, AI integration, and full-stack development will be essential in this role.

## What You Will Do - Architect technical solutions within your workstream, designing approaches and documenting trade-offs - Design and build cloud-native services from legacy systems, decomposing monoliths into APIs and services - Build full-stack, production-grade applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and integrations - Write and review code across multiple languages and paradigms, setting the technical standard for your workstream - Design event-driven and microservices architectures that can scale, evolve, and be operated by teams beyond the ones that built them - Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into client applications, building agentic workflows and intelligent automation - Implement CI/CD pipelines and delivery automation to give teams the confidence to ship frequently - Identify technical risk early and surface it clearly before it becomes a delivery problem - Generate ideas, fail fast, and demonstrate with POCs - Drive knowledge sharing in and out of client engagements - Participate in business development activities to help drive growth

## What We Are Looking For - Engineering experience, with a strong focus on building and shipping full-stack applications - Fluency in multiple programming languages and paradigms - Experience with cloud-native services, including design, development, and deployment - Strong understanding of AI and LLM capabilities, including integration into client applications - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and delivery automation - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
