Job Description

About the Role

The Lead Consultant-Data Migration role is a key position in Syniti's data migration team, responsible for handling complex data migration projects for Fortune 2000 companies. As a Lead Consultant, you will work closely with clients to analyze their data needs, design and implement data migration strategies, and ensure seamless data integration. You will be part of a global team of experts in data governance, migration, and management, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative data solutions.

The role requires a deep understanding of SAP, data analysis, and migration, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business growth and deliver high-quality results.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in SAP implementation projects, handling data migration activities such as data analysis, reporting, conversion, and harmonization
  • Work with clients to understand their data needs and design customized data migration strategies
  • Develop and execute data migration plans, ensuring timely and accurate data integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and deliver high-quality results
  • Analyze and resolve data-related issues, providing expert advice and guidance to clients
  • Develop and maintain data load programs, ensuring data quality and integrity
  • Create and maintain related documentation, including data migration plans and reports
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance and expertise in data migration and governance

What We Are Looking For

  • 7-10 years of SAP techno-functional or functional experience, with 3+ full SAP implementation lifecycles
  • Expert-level business process knowledge in one or more SAP functional modules, such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PP, or PS
  • Total of 10+ years of experience in IT projects, with a focus on data migration and governance
  • Proficiency in data migration tools such as BackOffice Cransoft, DSP, or SAP Data Services
  • Extensive experience in data quality and data migration, including data warehousing, data analysis, and conversion planning
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related analytical or technical discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL, with SQL query skills and a comprehensive understanding of SQL table structure and relational databases

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based data migration tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA
  • Certification in data migration or a related field, such as SAP or AWS
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages, such as Java or Python
