Job Description

About the Role

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Contracts Specialist to support its Federal Group. The successful candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert on federal contract administration, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on complex contracts of moderate to high risk, applying expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific acquisition regulations
  • Provide strategic contractual and regulatory advice to project managers, program managers, business line leadership, and executives
  • Perform detailed reviews of solicitations, contracts, task orders, modifications, and other agreements to identify risk, compliance, and business issues

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense/War (DoW) agencies
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific acquisition regulations
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Adjust, and Excel
